Skunk Train + Mushroom Whisky Train

It’s Just Booze proudly returned for its second year participating in the 2024 Skunk Train Mushroom Whisky Train, a unique fundraiser benefiting MendoParks. Guests aboard the historic train were treated to a one-of-a-kind tasting experience, featuring a selection of whiskies—including the standout Candid Cap, a mushroom-infused spirit crafted to celebrate the rich fungal heritage of the region. As the train wound its way through the redwoods, attendees enjoyed whisky pairings alongside mushroom grilled cheese sandwiches and s’mores, all while learning about the fascinating fungi of Mendocino County. Proceeds supported MendoParks, a dedicated nonprofit that enhances and maintains ten of Mendocino County’s State Parks through educational programs, trail restoration, and visitor center operations.
